A background should sit behind the text, not in place of it. This paragraph lies on the tile at its true scale — if it reads without effort, the tile can go under content.
Rainbow gradients of red, magenta, green and yellow sweep across the tile, with clusters of concentric spiral rings arranged in grid-like rows around star-shaped rosettes. Each cell repeats at regular intervals, so the rings and olive-gold octagonal gaps form a steady, rhythmic lattice across the page.
