A background should sit behind the text, not in place of it. This paragraph lies on the tile at its true scale — if it reads without effort, the tile can go under content.
Rainbow gradients sweep from magenta and red at the edges to yellow, green, cyan and blue at the centre, while clusters of concentric ring-shaped medallions ring a star-like core. Each tile repeats in a regular grid, so the medallions and central starbursts align into an even, rhythmic lattice across the page.
