Streaks and combed filaments that look like brush strokes, wind-blown grass or hair. The texture has a clear flow, which makes it feel dynamic even at low contrast.

A noise field defines a direction at every point. The texture is then smeared along those directions, so detail stretches into streaks that follow the flow. Changing the underlying field changes whether the strokes run straight, curve gently or swirl.

Every tile on tilejar starts as a crop of a larger image, which is then mirrored with a wallpaper symmetry (pmm, p4m or p6m) so it repeats without seams. Download it as a PNG or open its recipe in the generator.
