A background should sit behind the text, not in place of it. This paragraph lies on the tile at its true scale — if it reads without effort, the tile can go under content.
Dense green and olive ground carries a lattice of cream-yellow scalloped forms, rimmed in pale blue and dotted with dark maroon, with magenta four-petaled blossoms centred in each cell. Diamond-shaped green openings and small round rosettes sit between the blooms, repeating in an evenly spaced grid that creates a steady, interlocking rhythm across the page.
