A background should sit behind the text, not in place of it. This paragraph lies on the tile at its true scale — if it reads without effort, the tile can go under content.
Swirling, flame-like filigree in lavender, green, and coral forms a nested square medallion at the center of each tile, with curling tendrils reaching toward the edges. The medallions repeat in a regular grid of nine, their bright inner rings echoing across the page in a steady, rhythmic lattice.
