A background should sit behind the text, not in place of it. This paragraph lies on the tile at its true scale — if it reads without effort, the tile can go under content.
Wavy yellow-green and lime fields are threaded with red, violet and blue ribbons that curl into rounded medallions, each centered on a small diamond-shaped bloom. The medallions and their petal-like flares repeat in a regular grid, with mirrored halves meeting at the tile edges to create a rhythmic, flowing lattice.
