A background should sit behind the text, not in place of it. This paragraph lies on the tile at its true scale — if it reads without effort, the tile can go under content.
Rounded four-lobed rosettes in rainbow swirls of green, yellow and magenta sit at the corners of blue-teal square frames, with a diamond-shaped mauve motif between them. The unit repeats in a regular grid, so the rosette clusters and open square frames form an even, rhythmic lattice across the page.
