A background should sit behind the text, not in place of it. This paragraph lies on the tile at its true scale — if it reads without effort, the tile can go under content.
Pale sage-green fractal-like motifs with soft glowing edges sit on a dusty mauve-plum ground, arranged as diamond lattices where four-part flower forms meet at intersections and scrolling leaf shapes trail along diagonal lines. The repetition creates a regular grid of diamonds that alternate in brightness, with each cell's centre marked by a small rosette.
